The overall mission of CEDEM is to help Ghanaian children gain access to high quality education so that they can learn to read, write, calculate, and communicate effectively.  The staff work directly with teachers, pupils, parents, GES officials, and other key community and district stakeholders to improve teaching and learning in the classroom, drawing on lessons learned and best practices from the USAID funded QUIPS program in Ghana.
